The main reason for uploading this is to provide resources to help others improve in their game developing journey!

I find that studying other peoples code, Immensely helps with my own skills ^오^

So here is a variety of games I have never finished, for you to study, change, manipulate, crush and kill anyway you wish ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Think of it like a scrapyard you can look through and possibly find something usefull

Please don't reupload any of these projects as your own, but feel free to take any code for use in your own projects.

Credit is not necessary, But always appreciated (^o^)/ <3

All Projects Are Made In Gamemaker Studio 2

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Project #1: "3D Shooter":

Description: This is my attempt at a 3d roguelike dungeon crawler. It was originally gonna be called "Waifu Hunterz". The main objective is to traverse the maze and find and rescue your waifu lol, while also killing monsters on your way there. After saving your waifu the stage will self destruct so you need to run back to your spawn before it does... Hint: The waves go towards the spawn. When going to a new stage 3 cards appear where you were supposed to pick upgrades for your character but I never got to that part. This is the first 3D game I tried to make.

Reason For Quitting: Because this was my first 3d project, It became increasingly difficult to code. Which drained my motivation for the project, I also got bored of the idea as I thought it was too similar to other dungeon crawlers. I never made a plan for the game either, I kind of just did shit as it went along so its all over the place and messy.

Controls: WASD to move, Mouse to look, MB1 to shoot and press play.

Project #2: "DigBros":

Description: I was very inspired by Bedwars for Minecraft. I wanted to make a game similar to that! DigBros is a Base-building fighting game where your objective is to destroy your opponents base, and then your opponent! At the start of the game you can mine coins and find a spot for your base. Once you place down your main base you will respawn there and the surrounding area is protected so your opponent cant mine there with a pickaxe. Clicking A on your base will open up a shop where you can buy blocks, tools, and upgrades so you can build your base and become stronger. To attack an opponents base, you would have to buy bombs to be able to destroy blocks in their area and hit it with a sword, once their base is gone they cannot respawn anymore! Also at the middle there a flower plant which you can claim for it to generate precious flower buds so you can buy powerful upgrades. It was a lot of fun developing and playing this game with my friends. The biggest achievements I've made with this one was the inventory system,  split screen, and shop.

Reason For Quitting: I got too overwhelmed with the complex mechanics of the game, there were so many things to balance with no way of knowing if their balanced or not. Because of that I lost motivation with the project, I didn't think I could handle that big of a task on my own and quit.

Controls: ONLY CONTROLLER SUPPORT! Hold A on a empty spot to place Base, Hold X to mine, place, or attack

Project #3: "Doggie":

Description: This is the most unfinished project out of the rest, It was supposed to be a fighting smash brothers clone but didn't go anywhere. The main feature I'm proud of is the background, I think its cool as shit and that why I'm including it in here. Its also very satisfying to kill the green happy faces :) . Also there's no clamp on your speed, so you can BLJ (Bite long jump) out of the stage if you kill the row of faces and keep holding right, its kinda hard todo tho.

Reason For Quitting: mmm I couldn't really get an idea down for the game, it did get repurposed into Demon chicken tho so it didn't go completely to waste.

Controls: Arrow Keys, Hold up to jump, Controller supported.

Project #4: "Doop":

Description: This game a is a mix of classic breaker, and Bullethell. Whenever the ball would break a block, a "bullet" would drop and if it hit the paddle, it would freeze you. So you would have to dodge it and not get hit while the ball is breaking blocks at the same time. This project I really concentrated on the visuals, I wanted this game to look GOOD. I think I accomplished that, I really like how the game looks and its juicy af. This is the MOST finished game out of all of them, its pretty much is a finished small game.

Reason For Quitting: Even though the game feels good and looks good to play, the Bullethell mechanic didn't really add much to the game, and pretty much is just a Breaker clone, I tried different bullets, harsher punishments, but couldn't get it to be interesting. It felt very bland and mundane, so I didn't upload it (Until right nao uwu).

Controls: A to go left, D to go right, Spacebar to release ball and press play

Project #5: "Symbology":

Description: OH MAN THIS IS FUCKING COOL, Symbology is a fast paced 3D arena shooter inspired by the Witchery mod for Minecraft, and Classic DOOM. Its about Witches who fight to the death using only their wands and knowledge. Holding right trigger or MB1 with a wand will put you into cast mode, in cast mode, move mouse or right joystick to draw a spell! If you draw one correctly and let go, the spell will shoot out! To see the list of spells, Press start or escape to open the Symbonomicon, scroll with the mouse wheel, or click the bumpers to flip thru the pages, the command inputs are shown near the bottom! This is by far the coolest project ive ever done and I love it ALOT. Ive had so much fun coding all this and playing with my friends. I love the concept, love the gameplay, everything.

Reason For Quitting: I could go through the trouble of making this in Gaymaker but I really want this game to be in full 3D, Which is possible but would be very hard to do because Gamemaker just doesnt have the tools built in for that. Meaning id have to create all the tools myself (I dont wanna do that T-T). So im leaving the project how it is now. It will come back in one form or another tho!!! (Im learning Unity right now :D)

ControlsKeyboard and Controller support, Controller strongly recommended, I kind of said the controls above already lol

Project #6: "VertixesTest(Water)":

Description: Last and a lil least, VertixesTest is just a project I made to learn how Vertexes work in Gamemaker not really game but I still wanna add it here, I was trying to create a water shader. Didnt get the result I wanted but Im still proud of it :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
